Getting closer to home usmc?

im a marine stationed in 2nd maintenance bn camp lejuene nc ive been here for a year.I love the marine corps but being here keeps me so far away from the people i love. there has to be away for me to get closer to upstate ny. I shouldn't have to choose between the corps and the people that mean the most to me. BTW im a 2171. idc what position or job ide have to take. what are my options? i would even settle on something that was even remotely close to home. ive considered I&I and that's all that i could think about
