Williams, Amherst, Holy Cross, Bowdoin, or Middlebury?
For all schools at this level, the academics are all outstanding. Holy Cross had 7 Fulbright scholars this year which is very impressive for a school of 2700 students. Holy Cross is one of a very few schools whose graduate is a sitting US Supreme Court Justice. Visit all of these schools and see where you feel most at home. I agree on the Williams location. I have lived in Machusetts all my life and have never had an excuse to drive out to it because it is not near anything else. Worcester, while industrial, is in the center of New England and easily accessible to Boston, NYC, and Cape Cod.
