Why are so many Obama critics saying he is weak, when..?

...I seem to remember Bush watching North Korea perform a nuke test in 2006, Hugo Chavez take the piss out of him for almost his entire presidency, and who could forget what happened on Sept 11th 2001? If all of the above was considered good leadership, then the Obama critics don't really have a leg to stand on do they?
